2017 Photo Competition

2017 is Visit Wales' "Year of Legends" where we celebrate our ancient landscape, myths and language. In recognition of this, we've launched our 2017 photography competition based on the "Year of Legends". Did you have a legendary holiday? Or maybe your walk up Carn Llidi took your breath away? Why not submit your photo and be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Rules and Prizes

Photographs must be taken WITHIN the St Davids Peninsula, be original and the location must be identifiable.

Entry is open to everyone except members and their families of the St Davids Peninsula Tourist Association (SPTA) Committee and is free of charge.

A photograph may only be entered ONCE for the duration of the competition. All entries are accepted in good faith and will be judged on an equal and anonymous basis. The judges decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries to the competition close on 31st October 2017.

Public voting commences from 1st November with the final judging being undertaken by the SPTA Committee at the next committee meeting on 8th November 2017. Winners will be notified by email, announced on the web site and a prizes sent out in the post.

Registration (email and password) is required to submit photographs. A maximum of 20 Photographs per person may be submitted. Please ensure that your images are under 4MB before uploading. Please note that your uploaded photographs will NOT display immediately; we have to verify that each photograph is appropriate (may take up to a few days).

Photograph Rights:
By submitting a photograph, the photographer is permitting the St Davids Peninsula Tourist Association the right to use that photograph in its advertising and information publications (Broad sheet brochure and online). The St Davids Peninsula Tourist Association commits not to pass on, sell or use a submitted photograph for commercial gain by itself or third parties (such as in calendars, books and magazines etc that may be subject to monetary charge).
The copyright of the photograph is retained by the photographer.
